During Diwali, Thanksgiving, and Christmas festival time, we as the collective KPSNA would like to extend our celebrations and prayers to the rest of our community. While we spend time with our friends and families this coming holiday season, let us take a few minutes to think about those who are not as blessed as us. This is a great chance to make a difference in our community and with a tiny bit of effort on each of our parts; we will be able to make a big impact. We encourage you to join us in our efforts to help our less fortunate neighbors.
Please join us in every local chapter to execute this program through out nation canned food donations at the Diwali party itself. If every family were to bring 1 can per family member, we would have hundreds of cans and easily feed hundreds of less fortunate people in our community.
The food and funds we raise will help the Food Bank supply food to over 600 charitable agencies with more than 1,000 sites that provide food for low-income children, families, senior citizens and individuals in need throughout the county. Our help allows the Food Bank secure and distribute nutritious food such as fruits and vegetables as well as staples like pasta, beans and rice to serve more children and families.
If you like to volunteer for this program, please contact your local KPSNA executive member.
